Spring capsule closet (#14)

My spring capsule closet 2021
There you have it: spring capsule closet. As always there are lots of neutrals, especially shades of blue, but surprisingly there is also beige. I put there also 2 things in different colors, green and yellow. The yellow skirt is at least 10 years old :).
Spring capsule closet: new in
I have refreshes my closet a little bit after a 3 years time. 4 things needed to be bought to take the place of old and used ones: the navy trenchcoat (the old one died naturally after 8 years), black buttoned cardigan (my dog ate the previous one), black ballerina flats (waiting for my order) and white sneakers. The new trenchcoat I was lucky to buy second hand.
5 things are completely new, but I am hoping they stay in my wardrobe for next few years. The loafers (second hand but new) is something new for me, but it took the place of 3 pairs of black heels that I donated (now I got only one pair for events). I decided to add the new breton longsleeve and was happy to find the light blue shirt dress made of plain materiał (usually they are vertically striped). Beige chino trousers is an experiment and suede olive fllats I have bought for pure pleasure. Still most of my things from capsule is used throughout the whole year.
Capsule closet vs transitional season
Spring capsule closet is prepared for a few colder days. The navy trenchcoat can be switched to warmer navy coat and navy parka. Work at my HotMilk Studio means I don’t have to wear smart clothes, so the capsule is smart-casual at best. There is a mini-capsule for special occasions. You don’t find blazers here also as I use them as an outerwear in the summer. I hate to wear them layered under the coats.
